Visiting UMN

I was very lucky to visit Dr Vera Pospelova’s lab at the UMN the few last weeks!

Giving a seminar is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with other academics. Mine was about past environments during the Lateglacial-Early Holocene transition (ca. 14000-9000 years before the present) in Ría de Arousa:

This work allowed to better understand how past climate and other environmental changes affected the coastal ecosystems (sedimentation, marine productivity and vegetation). Palaeoenvironments were reconstructed using dinoflagellate cysts, pollen and other palynomorphs (fungal and microalgal spores). The main results were published in a JCR (high rated) scientific journal:
